Content Community of Practice
I was responsible for building the Content Community of Practice for India and EMEA, which was purely a community of content designers getting together to talk about craft and share work. These efforts were started primarily to bring a sense of belonging and community to the new and growing India team. The other agenda was to help content designers focus more on the quality of their craft as a community.
We had content shareouts every week, where content designers could share any work in progress, brainstorm, and get new perspectives to take back.
We had an open forum every month, where we had miscellaneous sessions, where content designers could showcase style guides and playbooks, share best practices, learnings from a conference, etc.
We had content workshops, where we practiced and honed our craft, and did group exercises planned by different hosts every month.
